The StarPass offers unlimited rides on StarTran buses and special discounts from participating sponsors for youth ages 5-18 during three months each summer. Valid May 22 through August 31, 2026

Pick up a StarPass for $20 at the StarTran office, 710 “J” Street, or at an outlet location (list of vendors coming soon). For more information, call StarTran at 402-476-1234.

Safety Tips for Kids Riding the Bus

  1. Never share your personal information with those you do not know.
  2. Sit near the bus driver.
  3. Know the bus schedule.
  4. Know the bus route you are taking.
  5. Use the buddy system.
  6. Be respectful.
  7. Keep emergency contact information in your backpack.
  8. Keep personal belongings close to you.
  9. Be aware of your surroundings.
  10. If you feel uncomfortable, let the bus driver know and/or call your parent/guardian.
  11. Let your parents know when you are on the bus and when you get home or have reached your destination.
