"F" Street Youth Program

Join us for the very best weeks of your summer at "F" Street Community Center for our unique program geared for teens called "F" Street Youth Program, also known as: "FYP"! 

Join us for a clubs-based program for youth who have finished 5th through 8th grades.  Multiple clubs that youth can select from will be offered each week to keep your middle-level youth busy, engaged, and having fun!  Clubs will include Sports, STEM, Fine Arts, Weightlifting, Content Creation, Gardening, Make A Difference, Monday Madness, and much more.  There is something for everyone. In addition to the club offerings, FYP will also go swimming twice a week and take community field trips. There will also be plenty of time to hang out with peers in our Teen Zone or in the gym.

  • Clubs will be offered from 1:00 to 3:00 each day.
  • Youth are welcome to stay at the center for Drop-In programs until 8 pm each weekday at no additional cost!
  • The cost is $5 per week.
  • Some optional field trips may come with additional costs.
  • There is a one-time registration fee of $25  at the time of registration.  After that, it’s just the $5 per week fee.
  • Fees include club activities and supplies, snacks and dinner each evening, transportation, and entrance fees

Need Based Scholarships

Scholarship applications are available at all recreation centers, the Parks and Recreation Administration Office, the Playground Office.

Applicants must provide proof of income (copy of tax return or most recent paycheck stub), size of household and statement of need. Once your application has been received, your location will make contact to discuss your request.
