LPD Investigates Fatal Crash | Nebraska Parkway and Eiger Drive

The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is investigating a fatal crash that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. 

On Tuesday, June 9, at 11:41 p.m., LPD and emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of Nebraska Parkway and Eiger Drive on the report of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and SUV.

The preliminary investigation determined the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Nebraska Parkway and the SUV was traveling eastbound on Nebraska Parkway, turning onto Eiger Drive, when they collided. 

The 19-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identities of those involved are not being released at this time. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be factors in the crash.
