LPD Investigates Fatal Motorcycle Crash | N. 90th & Adams Street

The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is investigating a fatal crash that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.

On Sunday, August 24, at 5:26 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of N. 90th and Adams streets on the report of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

The preliminary investigation determined the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Adams Street and the SUV was turning onto Adams when they collided. Speed appears to be a factor in the collision.

Medical personnel rendered aid to the 21-year-old Lincoln man riding the motorcycle who was pronounced deceased. Officers remain on scene continuing their investigation. The identities of those involved are not being released at this time. The driver of the SUV is being voluntarily evaluated by an LPD Drug Recognition Expert, although no impairment was suspected on scene.
