LPD Releases Downtown Safety Enforcement Results | 2025

The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) today released the results of an enforcement project conducted in September focused on vehicle and pedestrian traffic downtown and in surrounding neighborhoods.

A grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office allowed officers with the LPD Southwest Team and Traffic Enforcement Unit to work overtime on the enforcement project. The following results do not include citations written by officers during their normal hours.
