The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) today released the results of an impaired driving enforcement project conducted in December 2025. The effort was part of the national “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. During the project, officers working overtime focused on impaired driving enforcement, with on-duty officers also encouraged to focus efforts on apprehending impaired drivers. The enforcement campaign was made possible by a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office. Officers arrested 117 impaired drivers in December.
