LPD Releases School Zone Traffic Safety Project Results

The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) today released the results of a school zone traffic safety project conducted May 8 through May 22.

Funded by a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation-Highway Safety Office, the project assigned additional officers in school zones to enhance traffic and pedestrian safety during the last few weeks of school. 

Total results are as follows:
