Lincoln Police Investigating After People Injured by Gunshots

The Lincoln Police Department is investigating multiple firearm injuries to people on Friday, October 20, 2023. Around 12:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 14th and O Streets on report of gunshots heard.

Officers were able to locate and render aid to a person in the area of 13th and O Streets who had received a non-life-threatening firearm injury. Officers were able to locate several casings and projectile impacts in the area of 13th and O Streets. A short time later, three other people arrived at a local hospital, also with non-life-threatening firearm injuries.

We do not believe there is an active threat to the public at this time.
