The Lincoln Police Department presently consists of approximately 500 total employees. Out of these positions, 353 are sworn police officers and 150 are held by civilians. We seek applicants with diverse backgrounds and educational experience. The Lincoln Police Department is regarded as one of the premiere law enforcement agencies in the state, with on-site training and access to advanced technology.
