Multiple Street Closures Scheduled for Friday

Portions of three streets will be temporarily closed Friday, February 5. The schedule is as follows:

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., “R” Street between Pinnacle Arena Drive and Canopy Street will be closed for the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department vaccination clinic at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Access to Red One garage will be maintained.
From 8 a.m. to noon, South Cotner Boulevard between South 48th and “A” streets will be closed for tree removal.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., “R” Street between North 16th and North 17th streets will be closed for tree removal. StarTran bus routes may be affected during this time.

Digital signs will alert travelers to upcoming work and closures. Travelers are encouraged to seek alternate routes and are reminded to exercise caution around work zones. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) appreciates the public's patience during these projects. LTU project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
