Multiple Street Closures Now in Effect

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities today announced that multiple street closures are now in effect. The projects are as follows:

• Adams Street from North 14th Street to Cornhusker Highway is closed for emergency water main maintenance. This work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, March 31. The recommended detour for eastbound traffic is North 14th Street to Cornhusker Highway to Adams Street. The recommended detour for westbound traffic is Cornhusker Highway to North 11th Street to Adams Street. Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained.

StarTran Route 41-Havelock will be detoured during this work. For more information on StarTran routes and detours, visit transit.lincoln.ne.gov or call 402-476-1234.

• There will be additional lane closures on South 10th Street between “M” and “N” streets due to utility work on “N” Street. This work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, March 24.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around the work zone. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) appreciates the public’s patience during this work. LTU project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
