Downtown Street Closures Scheduled for March 4 and 5

Several streets in downtown Lincoln will be closed Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5. The projects are as follows:

• Westbound “P” Street between Eighth and Ninth streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 4, for crane work. The recommended detour is “Q” Street to Eighth Street. For more information on this work, contact Shane Dostal, LTU, at 402-525-7852 or sdostal@lincoln.ne.gov.
• An eastbound lane of Rosa Parks Way/"K" Street between Seventh and Ninth streets and a southbound lane of Ninth Street between “L” and “K” streets will be closed Sunday, March 5, for utility work. The intersections of Ninth Street at “L” and “K” streets will be two-way stops during this work. Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around the work zone. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities appreciates the public’s patience during these projects and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
