South Haymarket Skatepark Open House Set for January 30

Online survey open January 31 through February 14

The Parks and Recreation Department invites residents to an open house regarding the South Haymarket Skatepark from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, at The Bay, 2005 “Y” St. An online survey will be available from January 31 through February 14 at lincoln.ne.gov/HaymarketSkatepark.

Parks and Recreation staff and representatives from park designer Olsson Studio and skatepark designer Spohn Ranch will be available to answer questions and gather input regarding the design of Lincoln’s new skatepark in South Haymarket Park, Seventh and “N” streets.

Paper copies of the survey will be available at the following locations:

  • Lincoln Parks and Recreation administrative offices, Suite 300, 3131 “O” St.
  • The Bay, 2005 “Y” St.
  • Precision Skateboards, 1622 “O” St.
