LCL Announces Special Collaboration With Lincoln Symphony Orchestra

Published on March 11, 2024

Lincoln City Libraries (LCL) today announced a special collaboration with the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra (LSO) to offer free concert tickets and music-themed storytimes.

LSO’s Family Concert, Lemony Snicket's “The Composer is Dead,” will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at 3 p.m. at the Nebraska Wesleyan University O'Donnell Auditorium, 5040 Huntington Avenue. To obtain free tickets to the concert, LCL patrons must check out designated music or Lemony Snicket books from any LCL location to receive a special bookmark. The bookmarks provide information on how to get complimentary concert passes. Each family pass admits two adults and all dependent children to the concert.

Tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all tickets have been claimed, no additional passes will be available.

Prior to the concert, LCL will host special storytime sessions with members of LSO. The schedule is as follows:
