Portion of Van Dorn Street to Temporarily Close March 20

Van Dorn Street between South 19th and South 20th streets will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 20 for a tree removal project. The tree removal project listed in the previous release, scheduled for Thursday, March 21 on South 17th Street, has been completed.

StarTran Route 56-Sheridan will be detoured during this work. The recommended detour is South 17th Street to South Street to South 27th Street.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around the work. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) appreciates the public’s patience during this work. LTU project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
