Lincoln City Libraries and the Lied Center for Performing Arts today invited residents to participate in a special program that combines reading and performing arts into a unique cultural experience. The Page to Stage season begins September 16 with a panel discussion on “A House Divided.” The event is at noon at Bennett Martin Library, 136 S. 14th St.
The six-performance program will feature special events coordinated with performances appearing at the Lied Center, including visits from Lied Center artists, special storytime guests, curated reading lists, and giveaways.
Specific dates for the 2025 performance season will be announced closer to the performance dates. The event schedule is as follows:
“We love to take great art and artists beyond the walls of the Lied and into the community, creating ever-expanding accessibility and opportunities for connection,” said Lauren Silverman Durban, Lied Center Communications Manager. “The exceptional performances coming to the Lied this season provide some wonderful intersections with great literature, and we can't wait to share them. We are grateful to the Lincoln City Libraries for their partnership and vital work in the community.”
