Registration Now Open for Youth Volleyball and Flag Football

Lincoln Parks and Recreation today announced that registration is now open for spring NFL FLAG™ Football and youth volleyball. The deadline to register is February 10 and space is limited.

 

The leagues are as follows: 

  • The  NFL FLAG™ Football six-game season runs March 17 through May 1 at the Lewis ballfields, 24th and “J” streets. The league plays a five-on-five coed format with no blocking. Leagues are divided into kindergarten through eighth grades divisions. Players are assigned to teams via coach request, friend request, and geographic area.

 

Regular registration is $95 for the first child and $5 discount is offered for each additional child in the same family until February 3. Late registration from February 4 through 10 is $10 more for each child ($105 for the first child and $5 sibling discount). Registration fee includes an official reversible NFL jersey and flags that players keep. 

 

  • The  Youth MiniVolley Volleyball league six-game season runs mid-March to early May at Belmont Recreation Center, 1234 Judson St. and Calvert Recreation Center, 4500 Stockwell St. Games are played on Saturday mornings in a relaxed, developmental and instructional environment with a four-on-four format.

 

The league offers kindergarten through fifth-grade age divisions. Eight-person teams are assigned a volunteer coach and organized via friend requests and geographic areas. Registration is $50 for the first child, with a $5 discount for each additional child in the same family. Registration includes a program shirt.
