Portions of Two Streets to Close Beginning November 17

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that portions of two streets will close beginning Monday, November 17. The closures are as follows:

• “A” Street between 14th and 16th streets will be closed for lead water service line replacements. This work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, November 26. Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained. The recommended detour is “A” Street to 13th Street to South Street to 17th Street.
• Two southbound lanes of Ninth Street between “Q” and “P” streets will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon for private construction work.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure. LTU appreciates the public’s patience during this closure and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
