Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) invites community members to an open house on Tuesday, December 2, regarding a downtown trolley reroute project. The event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the “F” Street Community Center, Room 213, 1225 “F” St.
StarTran Route 55-Downtown Trolley will be rerouted to better serve the future multi-modal transportation center, additional StarTran riders, visitors, and City and County employees. Two potential routing options have been developed, and public feedback is requested to help determine the preferred route. Residents will be able to review the route options and provide feedback during the open house or online at lincoln.ne.gov/MMTC.
The selected route will be presented to the StarTran Advisory Board for a vote at the December 11 board meeting. If approved, the new route is planned to take effect on January 12, 2026.
