City Announces Weather Related Closures and Service Changes

The City of Lincoln today announced closures and service changes for Wednesday, February 12, due to inclement weather. The changes are as follows:

  • The Bennett Martin Public Library will open at 10 a.m. All other Lincoln City Libraries locations will open at noon.
  • All Aging Partners Senior Centers in Lincoln and Lancaster County will be closed. The Aging Partners Fitness Center at Victory Park will also be closed and all other senior center activities cancelled. 
  • The 98th Street Water Transmission Pipeline Project open house scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. at Robinson Elementary School, 1350 North 102nd St., is canceled. The event will be rescheduled.
  • The Lincoln City Libraries Bookmobile will not be in service. The bookmobile was scheduled to visit Matt Talbot, Hartley/Peter Pan Park, and Clinton Elementary.
  • There will be no evening Adaptive Club at Easterday Recreation Center.
  • The Air Park Community Center, Belmont and Calvert Recreation Centers will open at 8 a.m. All other centers will operate on regular schedules.
  • Gated trails at the Pioneers Park Nature Center will be closed.
  • Adult Team Sports basketball championship games will continue as scheduled at the Belmont Recreation Center.
