Portions of Several Streets to Close June 13, 14, and 16

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that portions of several streets will close beginning June 13, 14, and 16. The closures are as follows:

• 17th Street between “O” and “P” streets will be closed from 9 a.m. Friday, June 13, to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15, for the Star City Pride Festival.

• “K” Street between 14th and 16th streets, “H” Street between 14th and 16th streets, 16th Street between “K” and “H” streets, and 14th Street between “K” and “H” streets will be closed from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, for the Star City Pride Parade.

• Southbound 13th Street between “Q” and “P” streets will close beginning Monday, June 16, for building construction and crane work. This work is scheduled to be completed by mid-July. The recommended detour is “Q” Street to 12th Street.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around these closures. LTU appreciates the public’s patience during this closure and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
