Parks Department Juneteenth Celebration set for June 28

The Parks and Recreation Department invites community members to a Juneteenth celebration Saturday, June 28. The free event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the “F” Street Community Center, 1225 “F” St.
Activities include a three-on-three basketball tournament, yard games, water activities, community art project, free haircuts from community barbers, hippty hop rodeo for young children, classic car show, free food and raffle prizes, facepainting, DJ, street dance, and more.
Prizes and giveaways are donated by Spreetail, Pepsi-Cola, Grace Chapel, and others.
