Lincoln Transportation and Utilities today announced that the First Street Trail at the Oak Creek Bridge on North First Street will be closed to all trail traffic beginning Thursday, June 12, for bridge repairs. The trail is expected to reopen Saturday, June 14, using a temporary pedestrian connection until the bridge work is complete.
Trail users are advised to plan ahead and to use alternate routes.
