Portions of Two Streets to Close Beginning July 16

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that portions of two streets will close beginning Wednesday, July 16. The closures are as follows:

21st Street between “L” and “M” streets will close from noon to 10 p.m. for The Mill's 50th Birthday Party event.

Normal Boulevard between Van Dorn and 70th streets will close for a Lincoln on the Move street improvement project. This work is expected to be completed by mid-August. The recommended detour is Van Dorn Street.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around these closures. LTU appreciates the public’s patience during these closures and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
