Lincoln City Libraries Page to Stage Program Begins August 14

Lincoln City Libraries and the Lied Center for Performing Arts today invited community members to participate in a special program that combines reading and performing arts into a unique cultural experience. The Page to Stage season begins August 14 with “Frozen: Ice Princess Storytime.” The event is at 10:30 a.m. at Bennett Martin Library, 136 S. 14th St. Costumes are encouraged.

 

The six-performance program will feature special events coordinated with performances appearing at the Lied Center, including visits from Lied Center artists, special storytime guests, curated reading lists and giveaways.

 

Specific dates for the 2025-2026 performance season will be announced closer to the performance dates. The event schedule is as follows:

"The Lied Center is thrilled to once again partner with Lincoln City Libraries on the Page to Stage program,” said Lauren Silverman Durban, Lied Center Communications Manager. “The special storytimes, lunch and learn events, and Q&A sessions with artists that have been part of this partnership over the last few years have created some exceptional moments of learning and connection, and we can't wait to see what grows from this season's events. We believe that both great art and great literature belong to everyone, and we're so grateful to the Lincoln City Libraries for helping us to offer these free opportunities to our community."
