Portion of Holdrege Street to Close Beginning August 4
Published on August 01, 2025
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that Holdrege Street between Cedar Cove Road and 98th Street will close beginning Monday, August 4, for water transmission line installation. This work is expected to be completed by mid-January 2026. Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained. The recommended detour is 84th Street to “O” Street to 98th Street.
Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure. LTU appreciates the public’s patience during this closure and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
For more information on street closures, contact Shane Dostal, LTU, at 402-525-7852 or
