Health Department Again Detects Measles in Lincoln Wastewater Published on February 04, 2026 The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department today reported that measles has again been detected in Lincoln wastewater. Measles was detected in samples taken January 26 and 28 at the Theresa Street Water Resource Recovery Facility, 2400 Theresa St. Wastewater samples are collected every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
