Health Department Announces Fifth Vending Machine Location

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) today announced that a fifth HealthToGo vending machine is now located on North 27th Street under the Elaine Hammer Bridge. LLCHD recently installed four other HealthToGo machines in Lincoln that offer health, hygiene and safety supplies at no cost.

Parks and Recreation Preschool Enrollment Now Open

Enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 Lincoln Parks and Recreation preschool programs that begin in September. Families may register online at lincoln.ne.gov/CivicRec. A nonrefundable $50 registration fee is required, and space is limited. Children must be toilet trained to participate.

“O” Street Closure Postponed Due to Wind
