Mayor Announces Plans for Star City Parade

At a news conference November 14 at the Lincoln Children's Museum, Mayor
Wesely announced plans for the Star City Holiday Parade, coming up Saturday

"Plainsong" Author Gets Key to City
|
Mayor Wesely presented a key to the city to Kent Haruf, author of "Plainsong,"
the novel selected for the city’s "One Book – One Lincoln" community reading
project. Haruf spoke and read selections from his book November 21 at a public
discussion in Lincoln. The entire program can be seen on 5 CITY-TV, the
government access cable channel.
