Mayor Announces Plans for Star City Parade
Mayor Wesely  announced plans for the Star City Holiday Parade At a news conference November 14 at the Lincoln Children's Museum, Mayor Wesely announced plans for the Star City Holiday Parade, coming up Saturday December 7. "Plainsong" Author Gets Key to City
Mayor Wesely presented a key to the city to Kent Haruf, author of "Plainsong," the novel selected for the city’s "One Book – One Lincoln" community reading project. Haruf spoke and read selections from his book November 21 at a public discussion in Lincoln. The entire program can be seen on 5 CITY-TV, the government access cable channel.
