Mayor's Statement On UNL Applying For Big Ten Membership

"I support the well-reasoned decision by UNL officials to apply for membership in the Big Ten Conference. With Innovation Campus on the horizon, the move further enhances opportunities to attract research funding and create research partnerships. This is exciting not just for the UNL academics and athletics, but for our entire community. It’s another step toward Lincoln becoming a world-class city that is able to compete with the best and brightest at the highest levels."
