457 Deferred Compensation - Traditional and Roth (Empower Retirement)

Lancaster County 457 plans are designed for employees to save additional funds for retirement.  Choose your investment type (Deferred Compensation or Roth).

401a Retirement (Empower Retirement)

Empower Retirement is Lancaster County's retirement provider. Eligible employees are eligible to enroll after completing 6 months of employment. MSS Employees are eligible to enroll on the first of the month following their date of hire. Participation in the retirement plan is mandatory after reaching age 25 and 1 year of service.

Post Employment Health Plan (VOYA Financial)

A Post-Employment Health Plan (PEHP®) is a tax-free, defined contribution health reimbursement arrangement. It allows for money to be set aside to pay for qualified health expenses and health insurance premiums. All contributions, accumulations and reimbursements are tax-exempt.

Employee Assistance Program (Continuum EAP)

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services are available to Lancaster County employees at no cost as part of the comprehensive benefits program. The EAP provider is Continuum.
