Capitol Beach Neighborhood Street Improvements

Lincoln on the Move invested in improvements to the following streets in the Capitol Beach Neighborhood:

  • Surfside Drive from Lakeside to Manchester
  • Manchester Circle
  • Manchester Drive from Surfside to Brookside
  • W “S” Street from NW 16th to Sailside Drive
  • W “P” Street from Capitol Beach Blvd to N Bell Street

Project Location

Project Funding

This project was programmed as a part of the commitment to voters to invest significant sales tax funds into improvement of existing streets. The project was funded jointly from the Street Improvement Vehicle Tax – Residential Rehab fund (aka-Wheel Tax) and ¼ cent sales tax for street in accordance with ballot language.

Schedule

Construction took place in 2021.
