Portion of North 48th Street Now Closed for Water Main Repair Published on February 13, 2026 Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that northbound North 48th Street between Dudley and Holdrege streets is closed due to an emergency water main repair project. Water service is expected to be restored around 11:59 p.m. Friday, February 13. Additional street repairs will be needed and are expected to be completed by February 27.
Portion of Ninth Street to Close Beginning February 16 Published on February 12, 2026 Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that the two lanes on the east side of Ninth Street between “M” and “K” streets will close beginning Monday, February 16, for County-City parking garage construction. These lanes are scheduled to reopen by the end of 2026.
