Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today launched TextLNK, a free text messaging service for Lincoln residents, hosted by TextMyGov. TextLNK provides updates and information regarding street and utility infrastructure projects. LTU will use TextLNK to share project-specific notifications, including construction schedules, detours, and progress updates.

Water Main Repair Closes Portion of South 48th Street

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced the northbound lanes on South 48th Street between Normal Boulevard and South Antelope Creek Road are closed to traffic for water main repairs. Water crews expect water will be restored to residents in the area in the late evening to overnight hours.
