Pioneers Park Nature Center Entry Panels

The four welded metal entry panels the welcome guests to the Pioneers Park Nature Center.

About the Sculpture

Acting as the welcome sign to the Pioneers Park Nature Center, each of the entry panels are approximately 7 feet tall and are made of rust-colored steel. The four panels have various nature themes including prairie, wetlands, woodland and the bison. A Nature Center staff member, Janice Wishnow, was responsible for the initial conception, but was constructed by Jake Balcom.

There was an open house and dedication of these entry panels Nov. 11th, 2007.
