Modernizing Lincoln's Commercial Parking

The purpose of this proposal is to update Lincoln’s commercial parking regulations as envisioned in Policy 11 of PlanForward 2050, the Lincoln-Lancaster County Comprehensive Plan.

The proposal includes the following elements:

• Elimination of minimum parking requirements for most commercial and industrial zoning districts.
• Maintaining existing parking requirements in residential districts and commercial districts typically found in close proximity to neighborhoods.
