LPD Releases Results for SE Team Traffic Project | June 2025

The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) today released results of an enhanced traffic enforcement project conducted by the Southeast Team in June. Officers worked overtime to focus on areas with high incidents of traffic crashes.

The Southeast Team responds to the largest number of reported crashes in Lincoln. This project allowed officers to work on days off and for others to work outside of their normal shifts to address the times where traffic crashes are at their peak.

The project was funded through a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.
