LPD Releases Results of Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Project

The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) today released the results of its Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over drug impaired driving campaign conducted April 19 and 20. LPD issued 223 citations stemming from traffic stops for various offenses.

During that weekend, LPD assigned additional officers to conduct high-visibility traffic enforcement using a zero-tolerance approach to drivers under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. LPD received funding from the Nebraska Department of Transportation to support the campaign.

Reckless Driving Citations  3
No Valid Registration Citations  40
No Insurance Citations  12
Engaging in a Speed Contest Citations   3
Flee to Avoid Arrest Citation  1
Open Alcohol Container Citation  4
