Creating Opportunity for All
One Lincoln works to realize the vision of a community where people of every race, religion, culture, class, age, ability, and identity feel understood and enjoy a true sense of belonging. At its core, One Lincoln promotes processes, structures, and policies that allow and empower all city employees and residents to achieve their full human potential. One Lincoln encourages conversations that foster awareness, challenge bias, and promote respect for all.
One Lincoln promotes the well-being of every resident through affordable housing initiatives, tenant assistance, and policies and programs to ensure healthy outcomes for children and families. The initiative also works to ensure fairness in employment, housing, and public accommodations; that complaints of discrimination are handled thoroughly and justly; and that persistent disparities in the community are acknowledged and addressed.
