Community members are invited to a discussion regarding waste processing and reduction Thursday, October 30. The free event, “Waste Matters: A Community Discussion,” will be from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Lux Middle School cafeteria, 7800 High St.
The event reflects the City’s commitment to helping residents, businesses, and visitors reduce and reuse waste more effectively. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) staff will provide information about local waste management practices and how community members can contribute to a more sustainable Lincoln.
