A story on Lincoln's strong economy is scheduled to air on the National Public Radio (NPR) show "Morning Edition" at about 5:20 and 7:20 a.m. Monday, March 2. The program can be heard in Lincoln on NET Radio 91.1 FM. Programs are also streamed live at netnebraska.org/radio and through the NET Radio app for smart phones. The air date and time could be changed to accommodate breaking news.
NPR reporter David Schaper visited Lincoln for several days in mid-February, and Mayor Chris Beutler was among those he interviewed. Schaper said a second story on Lincoln is scheduled to air later this week.
