Speaker: Mindy Rush Chipman - Director of Lincoln Commission on Human Rights (LCHR) and also the City's Equal Employment Opportunity Officer. Prior to joining the City of Lincoln, she was the senior managing attorney at the Immigrant Legal Center (formerly Justice for Our Neighbors-Nebraska), and before that served as an attorney at Legal Aid of Nebraska, had her own private law practice, and worked as a law librarian and correctional officer at the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center. Mindy graduated from Nebraska College of Law and is admitted to the bars of Nebraska and Colorado. She also received her Master's degree in Information Science and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri-Columbia and works to promote access to justice and legal information, particularly regarding the complexities of current U.S. immigration legal system, throughout Nebraska.
