Civil Rights Conference Set for April

The Lincoln Commission on Human Rights (LCHR) is hosting its annual Civil Rights Conference Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 24 at the Embassy Suites, 1040 "P" Street. Registration is due April 12, and more information is available at humanrights.lincoln.ne.gov.

On April 23, the Realtors® Association of Lincoln is sponsoring a session entitled "Fair Housing for Realtors®"presented by Scott Chang and Stephen Hayes, attorneys at Relman, Dane & Colfax, PLLC of Washington, D.C. Realtors® can earn three Continuing Education hours.

Sessions on April 24 include an 8 a.m. welcome by Mayor Chris Beutler and remarks from two speakers:

Continuing Legal Education credits are available for some sessions on April 24.

The luncheon on April 24 will include the presentation of two awards:

Nominations for these awards are due March 15 and can be sent to LCHR, 555 S. 10th St., #304, Lincoln, NE 68508.

The conference fee of $45 includes registration, materials, lunch and breaks. Realtors® attending the April 23 session must register with Christa Decker at 402-441-3621.
