There are efforts through local and state coalitions working to prevent death from suicide. In the last year all efforts have aligned to support the rollout and utilization of the new 988 Suicide crisis number. Additional efforts seek to address means through firearms, overdose, and awareness. LLCHD is coordinating the development of a Suicide Data Profile for Lancaster County to better focus efforts based on a more complete local picture.
