Impact fees are charges levied against new construction, changes in land use, or an increase in water meter size to help generate revenue to build new infrastructure needed because of development.

The Right of Way Construction Management Section is responsible for ensuring that all private construction being conducted within the public right of way meets all requirements, standards and specifications.
Welcome to the Right of Way Services Section, which is located within the City of Lincoln's Development Services Center (DSC). The DSC brings together eight department’s employees to provide a coordinated Private Construction Permitting process including plan review, inspection and permit services ensuring new development within the City meets code and standards for design and construction.
