When you get dressed to go for a run, there is a generally accepted order to things that works best. For example you put on your socks before your shoes, and you put on your shirt before your jacket. Any other way just wouldn’t make sense. Similarly, constructing infrastructure has a generally accepted order according to depth and proximity limitations to other infrastructure types. These project guidelines are outlined in the Guiding Principles and Procedures Online Manual, Lincoln Standard Plans, and Lincoln Municipal Code, along with other resources available on the city of Lincoln’s website.

These checklists are to be filled out by the Developer Engineer and submitted with plans for review. Any prior arrangements by other city divisions need to be included in the “Submitter or Designer Comments” column.
