Facility Reservations Update 

Our website has transitioned to a new online facility reservation platform on January 2, 2025. If you have not logged into the new platform you will need to create a new user account before reserving a park space or registering for a program. If you have questions or issues, please contact a recreation center or our administrative offices at 402-441-7847.

This nearly century-old dance hall is Lincoln Parks and Recreation’s premier reservation facility for large events. Boasting the largest indoor seating of 225 people in the Lincoln Parks system, the Auld Pavilion has been a gorgeous facility that countless groups have enjoyed using throughout its existence.

Reserving the Auld Pavilion:

Auld Pavilion ONLY rents in person by visiting the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Administration Office during typical business hours, only rents once per day for private reservation, and requires payment for the venue rental in full at the time of reserving. The time you reserve and pay for, includes setup and tear down time and should reflect your actual needs at the time of reserving. Any additional time requests or timeframe adjustments must be submitted in person and if approved, paid in full at LEAST 30 days prior to the reservation date. It is best practice and highly advisable to reserve the total time you need at the time of the initial reservation as adjustments are not guaranteed to be accommodated.

If you choose to rent the Auld Pavilion, there will be a Parks Department employee available during your entire rental for any questions or needs. The staff person will arrive to open the building at the time indicated on your Shelter Reservation Application. The building should be clean and ready to be locked by the end time on your application. The refundable damage deposit is returned to you once our staff has confirmed the building was properly cleaned, it was only used during the hours stated on the reservation form and no alcohol beverages were consumed. 

Rental Fee/Period:   $500 for 4 hours. $125 each additional hour.

Capacity:  250 people

Security Deposit:   $400 in cash/check form, due 2 weeks prior to reservation.

• Ballroom Floor: 65’x 48’
• North Porch (indoor area): 65’x 13’
• Stage: 27’x 14’
• Kitchen: 10’x 8’

Items Available to You during Your Rental:

• Tables: Four (4) 30”x 60” serving tables with casters, 25 5’ round tables, six (6) 12’ fold-down tables. REMEMBER TO INCLUDE SERVING TABLES IN YOUR PLANNING.
• Chairs: 200 stacking chairs, 50 brown plastic stackable chairs
• 1-100 cup coffee pot
• Podium
• Refrigerator
• Microwave
• Any non-disposable items (Any disposable items that belong to Auld Pavilion are NOT available for your use.)

*Moving Tables and Chairs: Please allow the staff to give you directions and assistance before attempting to move or set up the tables. Improper handling or moving (especially stand-up tables on wheels) can scratch the floor or be a safety concern.

Accessibility:  The wheelchair-accessible entrance is located on the southwest side of the Auld Pavilion.

Parking:  The parking lot on the south side of the building is for Auld parking. The entrance doors on the south side of the building are considered the front doors. Please utilize this parking lot and these doors for you and your guests.
