Four Seasons

Four Seasons at Kontras Park.jpg

About the Sculpture

Located at Kontras Park, the Four Seasons Terminals were acquired by the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department in the fall of 2005. The park itself was named after Gus and Sophia Kontras following their generous donation. Gus suggested a "four seasons" theme for the park, and these 4 classically influenced sculptures were found. They represent the four seasons with flower beds to match. Daffodils in spring, pink Knock-out roses in summer, grasses that mimic grain and asters for the fall, and dry perennials for winter.
