Officials Committee

The Lincoln MPO Officials Committee functions as the policy making arm of the MPO. The Officials Committee membership consists of elected officials representing the City of Lincoln, Lancaster County and the State of Nebraska. The Committee is comprised of six voting members, three non-voting members, and a secretary. The voting members review and act upon transportation related programs and studies recommended by the MPO Technical Committee. Reviews and recommendations by the Officials Committee are to be in compliance with the established planning process and the policies of the general purpose governments and agencies which they represent. The non-voting members represent the federal transportation agencies for the region and provide policy guidance to the Committee.
