Lead Safe Lincoln

The Lead Safe Lincoln initiative is designed to prevent and reduce the risk of lead exposure for our community’s children and families. Through Lead Safe Lincoln, City teams are conducting lead testing in children, assessing lead exposure risk, removing lead from homes, and replacing lead water service lines.

Project “O” Street

Project “O” Street is a major reinvestment along “O” Street and surrounding blocks in the heart of Lincoln. The project will replace aging water mains, repair and resurface streets and sidewalks, and install amenities along both “O” Street and the 14th Street Music District.
